Choosing a fabric that suits how you'll use it
Cotton canvas holds its shape well and is the easiest of the three to spot clean, which is why it turns up most often in our messenger and tote styles. Jute is stiffer and more textured, good for shopping baskets and structured totes rather than anything you want to fold flat. Jacquard weaves bring in pattern and colour, generally on our hobo and sling styles.
All three natural fibres soften with handling, so expect a bag to feel different after a few months' use than it did on day one, that's the material working as intended, not wearing out. Avoid machine washing; spot clean and dry flat instead.
