Ceramic, stone or ornamental: what changes
Ceramic burners are the lightest and most affordable option and come in the widest range of decorative finishes; stone burners tend to hold heat a little more evenly and have a heavier, more solid feel on a shelf. Cut-out or ornamental designs are chosen as much for how they look with the tea light lit as for the fragrance function itself.
Always use a burner with the oil or wax product it's designed for, and check the bowl size against how much you typically use per session, an oversized bowl can mean oil evaporates before it's fully warmed.
